September 2, 2014 Finding Comfort when Dishonesty Reigns
As Christians, we should be uncomfortable when we see dishonesty and sin surrounding us; but, unlike non-Christians, we know how to find comfort in our Lord and His Word. I find comfort in the Psalms and have for over thirty years now. For most of those years, I read two chapters of the Old Testament, four Psalms, one chapter of Proverbs and two chapters of the New Testament each day. Reading the Bible at that level really brings the scripture together and the mysteriousness of some sections will go away as you start seeing how the Bible comes together.
Today’s reading of the Psalms, in Psalms 93-96; show how clearly the Bible can give peace at anytime or any place in the universe. Not only that, but I have marveled for years how while on a set reading plan, the Lord seems to know what you will need on the very day you need it so far ahead of time! It is one of His miracles for you. In this day of increasing oppression of Christians, we have the following scripture:
Psalm 94
The LORD Implored to Avenge His People.
94 O LORD, God of vengeance,
God of vengeance, shine forth!
2 Rise up, O Judge of the earth,
Render recompense to the proud.
3 How long shall the wicked, O LORD,
How long shall the wicked exult?
4 They pour forth words, they speak arrogantly;
All who do wickedness vaunt themselves.
5 They crush Your people, O LORD,
And afflict Your heritage.
6 They slay the widow and the stranger
And murder the orphans.
7 They have said, “The LORD does not see,
Nor does the God of Jacob pay heed.”
See how clearly the enemies of Christians are warned:
8 Pay heed, you senseless among the people;
And when will you understand, stupid ones?
9 He who planted the ear, does He not hear?
He who formed the eye, does He not see?
10 He who chastens the nations, will He not rebuke,
Even He who teaches man knowledge?
11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man,
That they are a mere breath.
The rest of Psalm 94 makes promises of protection to His people:
1. the LORD will not abandon His people (V14)
2. judgment will again be righteous (15)
3. Your loving kindness, O LORD, will hold me up (V18)
We not only have promises that we will be sustained, we have promises our Lord will destroy our adversaries in verses 21-23:
When my anxious thoughts multiply within me,
Your consolations delight my soul.
20 Can a throne of destruction be allied with You,
One which devises mischief by decree?
21 They band themselves together against the life of the righteous
And condemn the innocent to death.
22 But the LORD has been my stronghold,
And my God the rock of my refuge.
23 He has brought back their wickedness upon them
And will destroy them in their evil;
The LORD our God will destroy them.
If you take these four Psalms, 93-96, you have a good days devotion. Psalm 93 calls us to worship the Lord because of His majesty and strength and assures us he reigns from His throne. Psalm 95 explains who we are and why we worship the Lord. In Psalm 96 we worship the Lord because He is a righteous judge. When you add these psalms to a couple chapters from the Old Testament and one from the New Testament and then throw in a chapter of Proverbs, you have an even better devotion.
America desperately needs more people in the Bible and needs them speaking out when they see wrongs being approved.

8-26-2014 A Year Has Passed
This Post marks the end of the first year of posts on this website http://www.americaisafallennation.com. I started this website to support my E Book: America, Christ’s Top Nation Has Fallen. This post also marks the end of the first year of selling this otherwise un-promoted book and the book is not selling. It is difficult to sell an un-promoted Bible study confronting a nation with the hard truth of what has happened to them even as the nation struggles to comprehend how America arrived at the point we are at!
Doing the post was a lot more difficult at first and the oppression was hard to deal with. This past week I quietly waited to see if the Lord still wanted me to keep at it for Him. The Lord put many things to write about in my mind so I knew I had to keep going. I have learned this past year to not start fretting about what to write about next because when the time comes to write, the Lord starts giving me ideas, a lot of times at three or four in the morning. About the same time the oppression starts and at times it can be severe; but, I am learning how to get the Lord’s help in suppressing it.
In the mean time, the hits on the website have reached up to 75 an hour. I was shocked when the website host informed me of that. America is a hurting nation. I haven’t tracked when the hits on the website occur but I know by watching comments on the news of the day how badly America is worried by the incredible events unfolding against America. As badly as America is hurting, America is not ready to face the truth.

Now for this week’s post:
Sunday while our class was studying the punishments of Revelation 6, I asked if I could read Psalm 2 as it is such a great summation of the Old Testament and it fit so well with this part of Revelation in that it tells us it is futile to not follow the Lord and it leads to punishment when he is not followed. This week I would like you to look at some of the awesome promises the Lord made through Moses to the nation of Israel and compare them to the last of the Psalms. Deuteronomy 28:1-14 promises absolute miraculous things for the nation that will follow the Lord because the Lord will control everything for that nation and the latter Psalms praise the Lord for His control of everything. Keep in mind that in 1 Corinthians 10:1-6 and 11, Paul tells us what happened to Israel was meant to teach all people.
Deuteronomy 28:1-14
“Now it shall be, if you diligently obey the LORD your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. 2 All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey the LORD your God:
3 “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.
4 “Blessed shall be the offspring of your body and the produce of your ground and the offspring of your beasts, the increase of your herd and the young of your flock.
5 “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.
6 “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
7 “The LORD shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; they will come out against you one way and will flee before you seven ways. 8 The LORD will command the blessing upon you in your barns and in all that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you. 9 The LORD will establish you as a holy people to Himself, as He swore to you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways. 10 So all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will be afraid of you. 11 The LORD will make you abound in prosperity, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your beast and in the produce of your ground, in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give you. 12 The LORD will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. 13 The LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you only will be above, and you will not be underneath, if you listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, which I charge you today, to observe them carefully, 14 and do not turn aside from any of the words which I command you today, to the right or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
Following these 14 awesome verses on how the Lord can bless a nation are 56 verses of curses that will happen if you do not follow the Lord. Some of these curses are almost too horrible to mention but know that everyone of them came true for Israel’s rebellion.
When Christians founded America on Biblical concepts, the Lords hand was on America and we became one of the Lords highly blessed Top Nations as promised in this scripture. Now that we have turned from the Lord, we have become a hurting nation.
The above verses show how for the Lord to bless nations to this extent requires a harmony with nature. Let us look at some of the statements in the last Psalms.
Psalm 146:3-6, 11, 14,
He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.
4 He counts the number of the stars;
He gives names to all of them.
5 Great is our Lord and abundant in strength;
His understanding is infinite.
6 The LORD supports the afflicted;
He brings down the wicked to the ground.
The LORD favors those who fear Him,
Those who wait for His lovingkindness.
He makes peace in your borders;
He satisfies you with the finest of the wheat.
Psalm 149:5-9
Let the godly ones exult in glory;
Let them sing for joy on their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth,
And a two-edged sword in their hand,
7 To execute vengeance on the nations
And punishment on the peoples,
8 To bind their kings with chains
And their nobles with fetters of iron,
9 To execute on them the judgment written;
This is an honor for all His godly ones.
Praise the LORD!
There is much praise in the last Psalms for what the Lord has done and can do. Here is a sample:
Psalm 148:
Praise the LORD from the earth,
Sea monsters and all deeps;
8 Fire and hail, snow and clouds;
Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
9 Mountains and all hills;
Fruit trees and all cedars;
10 Beasts and all cattle;
Creeping things and winged fowl;
11 Kings of the earth and all peoples;
Princes and all judges of the earth;
12 Both young men and virgins;
Old men and children.
13 Let them praise the name of the LORD,
For His name alone is exalted;
His glory is above earth and heaven.
14 And He has lifted up a horn for His people,
Praise for all His godly ones;
Even for the sons of Israel, a people near to Him.
Praise the LORD!
The first part of Psalm 148 has the universe praising the Lord. George Washington proclaimed it is the duty of all nations to thank the Lord.

Part 4: The Awesome Promises of Deuteronomy
Let us look at some of the awesome promises of Deuteronomy that according to Paul in 1 Corinthians 10:6 and 11 are meant for all nations and see how America’s rebellion against the Great Governor has caused America harm.
1. Marvel at how The Great Governor sustained Israel during forty years in the desert:
Deuteronomy 2:7b These forty years the LORD your God has been with you; you have not lacked a thing. What an awesome promise for millions of people being sustained in a harsh desert. It should make people aware The Great Governor can meet any need His people have.
Deuteronomy 8:4 Your clothing did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. All kinds of things are tested to see if they can survive the desert environment and yet The Great Governor had no problem sustaining millions of people in a harsh desert!
America is in the midst of what seem to be insurmountable problems since we rebelled. The Great Governor longs for His once Top Nation* to return to Him as in Deuteronomy 5:29 Oh that they had such a heart in them, that they would fear Me and keep all My commandments always, that it may be well with them and with their sons forever!

2. The Great Governor could straighten out America’s health care mess:
Deuteronomy 7:15 The LORD will remove from you all sickness; and He will not put on you any of the harmful diseases of Egypt which you have known, but He will lay them on all who hate you.
3. The Great Governor who set his Christian nation free can protect us again if we return to Him:
Deuteronomy 12:10b He gives you rest from all your enemies around you so that you live in security. America has no idea who all our enemies are or where they may come from next but The Great Governor knows every one of them. Several places in the Bible confirm The Great Governors protection of His people. Here is just one from Deuteronomy 20:4 for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.
4. Returning to The Great Governor is how American’s can become happy and prosperous once again:
Deuteronomy 12:28 Be careful to listen to all these words which I command you, so that it may be well with you and your sons after you forever, for you will be doing what is good and right in the sight of the LORD your God. America became one the Lord’s Top Nations when founded by Christians on Biblical principal and they understood America would go well as long as we remained Christian.
5. America has been unable to solve our poor people problem even after going in to a debt which we may not survive to the tune of several trillion dollars:
Deu 15:4-5: However, there will be no poor among you, since the LORD will surely bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance to possess, 5 if only you listen obediently to the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all this commandment which I am commanding you today. Maybe America should try The Great Governors way! Poor people, think of this, you only get the small percentage your friends in big government do not take from you. The government tells us citizens we should not be greedy and willingly pay high taxes but once they get the money they greedily keep way more than you get. There is a better way and it is The Great Governors way.
6. America has borrowed huge sums of money, since our rebellion, from many nations and some are our enemies that will rule over us:
The Great Governor promises this in Deuteronomy 15:6 For the LORD your God will bless you as He has promised you, and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow; and you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you. Americas excess borrowing has become a trap for us and the only way out is to return to The Great Governor and follow Him. Chapter 30 explains how to return, promises blessings for doing so and then sets before us this choice in Deuteronomy 30:15 See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, and death and adversity.

Astounding isn’t it? Look how deficit financing rose when America rebelled! The huge cost of World War II hardly shows up compared to deficit financing after America rebelled and Satan started gaining control of America. America, please pay close attention to the end of verse 12 below.
America, are you aware of our need to return to The great Governor and follow Him? Are you aware how in the first 14 verses of Deuteronomy 28 the Lord basically promises to do everything for the nations who follow and obey Him:

Many will argue these promises were not meant for America. If that is true, how is it they came true for America? These promises were meant for and came true for America because we were founded by Christians for Christians and as long as we remained a Christian nation, these promises worked for America just as Paul told us they were meant as examples to us in the later days in 1 Corinthians 10:6 and 11!
It is no accident that 54 verses of curses on nations that do not follow the Lords way in the first 14 verses. America is suffering from some of these curses such as “The LORD will send upon you curses, confusion, and rebuke, in all you undertake to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, on account of the evil of your deeds, because you have forsaken Me. America needs to repent soon as these curses will surely come and I can’t see how America will do that without Christ’s Church calling for repentance for choosing the politics that got America to this fallen position.

8-5-14 Jesus Christ The Great Governor of The Universe
Part 3: The Governors Awesome Care and Promises
Those who do not think there is a Great Governor who governs the earth down to the slightest detail need to consider this from Genesis 15:16 Then in the fourth generation they will return here, for the iniquity of the Amorite is not yet complete. The Lord Jesus Christ, The Great Governor, told Moses that you can have their land then but not just yet. That is how The Great Governor gave the Israelites who were now following Him, after forty years of disciplining in the harsh desert, a land of milk and honey with fortified cities, homes, and vineyards they didn’t plant and He had financed and protected them.
What a tragic day for America when it rebelled in 1962 and 3 and the so called liberal intellectuals on the Supreme Court passed an edict, without precedence, that first prayer and then the Bible had to be taken out of public schools. Most law decisions are based on the precedence’s that fill libraries with law books and keep law clerks busy; but, in this case there was no precedence, so being liberal intellectuals, they just made an announcement. That is what liberal intellectuals who cannot read and comprehend the simple language of the First Amendment of our Constitution are prone to do. It is Satan’s delusion displayed at the highest levels of America leadership and it is stronger than ever in the present administration. We live in a time when those who can articulate the most twisted interpretation of our founding documents get the highest praise by politically correct liberals.
Liberal minds are now so twisted that they take the first amendments requirement that congress pass no laws prohibiting the practice of Christianity and use it to guess what? Prohibit the practice of Christianity at every opportunity. Being delusional by Satan, they can’t help but do so! America’s Godly founders put the teaching of Christianity and the use of the Bible in public schools as the foremost textbook to defeat Satan in his ongoing effort to dumb down people when they passed the Old Deluder Satan Law way back in 1647. Satan can fool almost anyone and Satan does this because the more ignorant people are of Biblical concepts; the easier it is for Satan to control them.

One would think Christ’s Church would have screamed their heads off at all this but they were mostly silent and have yet to take a substantial role in preventing Satan’s takeover of American politics. America desperately needs an arbitrator of truth and it needs to be Christ Church and we need it now in order to survive as a great nation. After all, this is one of the requirements of Christ’s church: I Timothy 3:15 — but in case I am delayed, I write so that you will know how one ought to conduct himself in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and support of the truth.
America, please look at what you did when you tossed public school prayer and the Bible out the window like so much garbage when you turned from the Great Governor:
According to my Founders Bible, many of America’s founders were exceptionally brilliant leaders that were trained and sustained by the Bible, even in public schools! We have all the numerous letters between John Adams, our second president, who read all the books in some libraries, and his wife, on how to raise children because John spent most of his life away from home serving America and these two love birds wrote often. They raised our sixth president, John Quincy Adams who so adored the Bible he studied it in a dozen languages and read five chapters of the Bible the first thing every morning! Considered America’s foremost diplomat of all time, he was secretary of a mission to Russia and its interpreter at the age of 14 to negotiate Russian recognition of the now independent America and he had accompanied his father on many diplomatic missions before that. Modern historians often refer to John Quincy’s 50 volumes of daily diary entries to learn how it was in his day.
Benjamin Rush was 14 when he graduated from Princeton. When Thomas Jefferson was nine he began a study of Latin, Geek, and French. Two founders had read through the Bible at 4 years of age! Signer of the declaration George Wythe was three when he began a study of the classics. When John Marrant was thirteen, he became the first black to successfully evangelize Native Americans. Andrew Jackson was serving in the Continental Army of the American Revolution at thirteen and at fourteen he was taken prisoner by the British and at sixteen, he was a school teacher. Almost all of America’s presidents have lauded the Bible up until one or two in recent years.
It is no accident that the Bible was so effective in teaching and leading those who founded our nation because it was also the chief text book in American schools. After all, The Great Governor left his Governorship and came to earth as the Word (John 1:14) to save those who accepted Him as Savior.
So what are some of the things the Bible teaches about governance of nations? First off remember that Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:6 and 11 that everything that happened to Israel happened as an example to us that follow. Let us look at just a few of the Psalms that should be taught as guidance to nations:
Psalm 2 is a great summation of the Old Testament teaching on governance and it teaches us it is futile to try and lead or govern any group or nation without the Great Governors aid. In fact, it warns leadership to do homage to the Son or they may be destroyed in their way. Psalm 2:12 Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!

Psalm 9 tells us:
The nations have sunk down in the pit which they have made;
In the net which they hid, their own foot has been caught.
16 The LORD has made Himself known;
He has executed judgment.
In the work of his own hands the wicked is snared.
Psalm 18 tells us how David called the Lord down to defend him. The Bible promises if a nation will follow Him, He will protect that nation in many places.
Psalm 27(Correct on 8-11-14 from 22) Is David’s testimony on how the Lord helped him as one of the World’s greatest rulers. Psalm 28:7 is his testimony on The Great Governors leading him: The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him.
Psalm 104 teaches us that the creatures look to The Great Governor for what they need. Shouldn’t man be brighter? Do not doubt this. Psalm 145:3 teaches us His greatness is unsearchable.

Part 2 Jesus as Governor
It seems as if America has forgotten about the Great Governor of the Universe that our founders had a healthy fear of. The Bible tells us the fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom and now that the fear of the Lord is pretty much absent from governance, America is experiencing an unworkable mess of a government that cannot work because it has abandoned so many principals in God’s Word. Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
America acts if there are no standards to be met and no Lord and Governor over all. Jesus Christ is viewed as this fuzzy warm being that loves everyone and accepts any life style. America desperately needs to understand there is a Great Governor who has set standards of conduct that must be met by both men and their nations. Psalm 9:19-20 Arise, O LORD, do not let man prevail; Let the nations be judged before You.20 Put them in fear, O LORD; Let the nations know that they are but men. And
Psalm 2:7-9 “I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD:
He said to Me, ‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
8 ‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance,
And the very ends of the earth as Your possession.
9 ‘You shall break them with a rod of iron,
You shall shatter them like earthenware.’”
Psalm 2 also clearly tells us how nations need to acknowledge and follow Christ, The Great Governor, just as our founders did, particularly George Washington in his inaugural address which was in a recent post ( I recently learned at mountvernon.org that James Madison wrote that speech and now we know more about how Madison also lauded The Great Governor):
Now therefore, O kings, show discernment;
Take warning, O judges of the earth.
11 Worship the LORD with reverence
And rejoice with trembling.
12 Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way,
For His wrath may soon be kindled.
How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!
America, please consider your future as The Great Governor must judge nations in the present time as nations have no after life. Will America’s judgment be so harsh it will tingle America’s ears? 1 Samuel 3:11 The LORD said to Samuel, “Behold, I am about to do a thing in Israel at which both ears of everyone who hears it will tingle. Remember how Paul in 1 Corinthians 10 warned how everything that happened to Israel was a warning to nations that follow: 6 Now these things happened as examples for us, so that we would not crave evil things as they also craved. 11 Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.
Please look at how The Great Governor judged Israel before the judgment where he did away with their nation and spread them throughout the world until they became a nation again in a 1948 event brought about by The Great Governor on the exact day the Bible predicted long ago! Christians know about how Israel was taken captive by Babylon for 70 years because of disobedience but how about all those other judgments and captivity? By the way, please read the testimony of King Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 4 about how The Great Governor rules over nations and take it from a pagan if you reject the other scripture in this post.
Here is some of the evidence in of course, Judges:
Judges 3:8 Then the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, so that He sold them into the hands of Cushan-rishathaim king of Mesopotamia; and the sons of Israel served Cushan-rishathaim eight years.
Judges 3:14 The sons of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years.
Judges 4:2 And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan –.
Judges 6:1 Then the sons of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD gave them into the hands of Midian seven years. Following this we have the wonderful story of Gideon defeating Israel’s captor with a few men in a story about how The Great Governor let Israel know that with his help only a few men were needed. When 32,000 men showed up to defeat Midian, they sent 22,000 home because they were afraid (Judges 7:3)! Out of the 10,000 left, the Lord chose only 300 men who then handily defeated Midian, even though the Midians were as numerous as locust (Judges 7:12)!
Here is a sobering warning of how The Great Governor rules from Psalm 78:32-34:
32 In spite of all this they still sinned
And did not believe in His wonderful works.
33 So He brought their days to an end in futility
And their years in sudden terror.
34 When He killed them, then they sought Him,
And returned and searched diligently for God;
America is terribly insecure. We have terrorist enemies sworn to kill us and we don’t even know who or where they all are but The Great Governor knows everyone of them. There are hundreds of American would be terrorist training in Syria and some of them are becoming suicide bombers for the cause of defeating Muslims enemies! Their leaders call America the Great Satan and call for our defeat.
America desperately needs the help of The Great Governor and I doubt it will come without His Churches help and the Church wants to stay out of politics!

7-22-14 Jesus Christ the Great Governor of the Universe
Part 1 Do you Know This Jesus?
Everything has always been all about Jesus, is about Jesus now and always will be about Jesus. America is suffering greatly now because the sovereignty of Jesus is not understood and America will suffer until the sovereignty of Christ is understood and/or Christ’s church leads America back to Christ. Just about everyone in America desires prosperity and peace but most Americans do not understand they cannot have these blessings without adhering to the Biblical principles of the universes creator and governor, Jesus Christ.
What follows are some of the way Jesus Christ governs the world that may be unknown to today’s New Testament Christians.
Most Christians know the story about how the Israelites were led out of Egypt with the Lord’s help but do they understand Jesus, the Angel of God, was there directing the escape? Exodus 14:19-20 NASB The angel of God, who had been going before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud moved from before them and stood behind them. 20 So it came between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Israel; and there was the cloud along with the darkness, yet it gave light at night. Thus the one did not come near the other all night. On the Egyptian side of the cloud there was total darkness and on the Israel’s side, there was light and it was from Jesus! Can you imagine the comfort this light was to the Israelites? They knew the Egyptian army was right there on the other side of the cloud but the light let them see they were safe as they waited for the Lord’s wind to separate the waters for them to cross the Red Sea.
The story of Jesus governance goes on in verses 24 and 25: 24 At the morning watch, the LORD looked down on the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud and brought the army of the Egyptians into confusion. 25 He caused their chariot wheels to swerve, and He made them drive with difficulty; so the Egyptians said, “Let us flee from Israel, for the LORD is fighting for them against the Egyptians.
Just as Jesus was there when the Israelites crossed the Red Sea, he was there as the Israelites went into the promise land. Joshua 5:13-15 13 Now it came about when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand, and Joshua went to him and said to him, “Are you for us or for our adversaries?” 14 He said, “No; rather I indeed come now as captain of the host of the LORD.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and bowed down, and said to him, “What has my lord to say to his servant?” 15 The captain of the LORD’S host said to Joshua, “Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so. We know this was Jesus because Joshua was told to remove his sandals because the ground was Holy. Mere angels would not let anyone worship them. That Joshua knew Jesus was evident when told I indeed come now as captain of the host of the Lord. And so we learn of the many roles of Jesus Christ, the Great Governor.
Still not convinced Jesus was all these things? What follows is a really powerful testimony of Christ’s leadership and governorship of Israel with both blessings and punishment. Judges 2:1-5: Now the angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim. And he said, “I brought you up out of Egypt and led you into the land which I have sworn to your fathers; and I said, ‘I will never break My covenant with you, 2 and as for you, you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall tear down their altars.’ But you have not obeyed Me; what is this you have done? 3 Therefore I also said, ‘I will not drive them out before you; but they will become as thorns in your sides and their gods will be a snare to you.’” 4 When the angel of the LORD spoke these words to all the sons of Israel, the people lifted up their voices and wept. 5 So they named that place Bochim; and there they sacrificed to the LORD. As you read trough Judges you will find case after case of how Jesus punished Israel for not following His directions.
In the preceding we learn how Jesus personally appeared to all Israel after he came up to Bochin, doesn’t that make you wonder when you read statements like this a little later in Judges 11:11 Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and chief over them; and Jephthah spoke all his words before the LORD at Mizpah whether he spoke them in person to the Lord?
Here is an example of Jesus as the Lord of Israel punishing Israel and manipulating people like Sampson so He can in turn punish the Philistines for how they treated the Israelites! Judges 13:1 Now the sons of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD, so that the LORD gave them into the hands of the Philistines forty years. Now look at these first four verses of Judges 14:1-4 Then Samson went down to Timnah and saw a woman in Timnah, one of the daughters of the Philistines. 2 So he came back and told his father and mother, “I saw a woman in Timnah, one of the daughters of the Philistines; now therefore, get her for me as a wife.” 3 Then his father and his mother said to him, “Is there no woman among the daughters of your relatives, or among all our people, that you go to take a wife from the uncircumcised Philistines?” But Samson said to his father, “Get her for me, for she looks good to me.” 4 However, his father and mother did not know that it was of the LORD, for He was seeking an occasion against the Philistines. Now at that time the Philistines were ruling over Israel. Not only did the Lord use Sampson in His governance, the Lord gave Sampson his strength!
I am amazed when I see how cognizant of the Lord’s governance the founders where and how easily Satan’s people took this knowledge from America as the church remained pretty much silent. Many of the founders cautioned America about not adhering to the Lord’s ways. Here is a selection from George Washington’s Inaugural Address of 1789 and please note how it is all about Jesus Christ, the Great Governor of the Universe: —it would be peculiarly improper to omit in this first official Act, my fervent supplications to that Almighty Being who rules over the Universe, who presides in the Councils of Nations, and whose providential aids can supply every human defect, that his benediction may consecrate to the liberties and happiness of the People of the United States, a Government instituted by themselves for these essential purposes: and may enable every instrument employed in its administration to execute with success, the functions allotted to his charge. In tendering this homage to the Great Author of every public and private good I assure myself that it expresses your sentiments not less than my own; nor those of my fellow-citizens at large, less than either. No People can be bound to acknowledge and adore the invisible hand, which conducts the Affairs of men more than the People of the United States. Every step, by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation, seems to have been distinguished by some token of providential agency. And in the important revolution just accomplished in the system of their United Government, the tranquil deliberations and voluntary consent of so many distinct communities, from which the event has resulted, cannot be compared with the means by which most Governments have been established, without some return of pious gratitude along with an humble anticipation of the future blessings which the past seem to presage. Wow – If only America still felt that way about Christ’s governance! On the other hand, how can America survive not knowing there is a Great Governor who has laid down standards that must be adhered to if a nation is to prosper and have security and maintain their peace and freedom. America became one of Christ’s top Nations by acknowledging and following the Great Governors ways and then America rebelled and fell.

Obama has fundamentally changed America just as he promised and the church could have stopped if it were the Bastian of Truth Christ intended it to be. Without Christ’s Church protesting all the untruths taking hold in America; America has fallen even further into the pit it has dug as a nation which works hard at ignoring God. A nation that has forbidden military chaplains not to pray in the name of Jesus and teachers not to pray with students! Psalm 9:But the LORD abides forever; He has established His throne for judgment ,8 And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity. 15 The nations have sunk down in the pit which they have made; In the net which they hid, their own foot has been caught. 16 The LORD has made Himself known; He has executed judgment. In the work of his own hands the wicked is snared.
If America had not stopped using God’s Word as the source of truth, America would not have fallen but instead America fell for the myth of separation of church and state and after swallowing this untruth, America choose Satan’s political correctness as our guide to good behavior and it has led to disaster as Psalm 2 promises and just as Christ’s Church could have predicted had it chose to do so. The problem is that the church had also chosen political correctness lest the church offend someone and insisted on staying out of Satan’s politics sweeping the land and so America fell and fell hard.
Since I seem to be alone in writing about America being a fallen nation, let me tell you how it happened. First off, the fundamental change that Obama has brought about is this, upright Americans now fear what the government can do to them just as the Bible predicts when it tells us: Proverbs 28:12 When the righteous triumph, there is great glory, But when the wicked rise, men hide themselves and so we now find the righteous without much of a voice in a fallen nation. Think of it, America has fallen from a government by the people and for the people to a government the upright fear because we see the haughtiness of those who rule over us and their constant battle against our Christianity. Lois Lerner punishing American conservatives and supposedly then losing her e mails that might prove it is no problem for any of America’s media except Fox! The unabashed biases we face today are nothing short of astounding.
Just this past week, America’s congressmen were told by those in government, which should be under their over sight, that they could not see what the government is doing with the refuges coming across the border! Another fundamental change Obama has brought is America’s fallen status in the world. This was a headline last Thursday: In a stunning development Mexican President Nieto and Guatemalan President Molina announce cooperation on getting Central American refugees through Mexico and into the US as if America no longer had any choice in whom crosses our border and with Obama in charge, we don’t! With Obama ignoring America’s constitution and no one stopping him, what else can America expect? This week, a young illegal told the border guards you are going to be here a long time as there are thousands behind us.
Jesus Christ, the Great Governor of the Universe, is the head over all government and assures that nations get the government they deserve as outlined in Colossians 1:15-17. An example is way back there in Genesis 15. When the Governor of the Universe was telling Moses what land the Israelites would be given he said they could not yet be given the land of the Amorites: Verse 16 Then in the fourth generation they will return here, for the iniquity of the Amorite is not yet complete.” America needs to face the hard truth which is Obama could not have been elected if America were not a fallen nation. You might wonder: Why would the Great Governor, Jesus Christ, let Obama have America? If we look at America’s problem with the truth since America thumbed our collective nose at Christ’s rule and took prayer and the Bible out of public schools in 1963, we can see why.
At the time America fell, there was basically one press and it was liberal and it decided that while the sexual dalliances of President Kennedy and Johnson were entertaining to them, it was none of Americas business since it was their men. These same people, in their warped sense of fairness sought out girls Nixon had dated to see if this Quaker had tried to put a hand on them! After America fell, all things sexual including teenage pregnancy, venereal decease and other items headed skyward. As did divorce and American families suffered greatly; but, America did not learn from it. When Bill Clinton, a fan of John Kennedy, sexual dalliances became known, the same press and this time with American concurrence decided tsk, tsk, doesn’t everyone lie about sex and showed so little regard for uprightness and truth that America elected him president anyway and he was elected on the lie, it’s the economy stupid? After the election when this same liberal mass media had to admit the economy wasn’t that bad, they forgave the lie by saying that Clinton just did what he had to do to get elected!
In the late fifties, frank Sinatra sang Love and Marriage, you can’t have one without the other, while Holly Wood made moralistic family movies and practiced a high degree of self censorship. Shortly after the fall, Holly Wood made movies like the Flim-Flam Man celebrating dishonesty and started making more sexually explicite movies to compete with the porn industry! Some music even celebrated deviate sex and killing cops!
This leads us to the election of the liar Obama as president. Obama lies and to the degree that Americans like us have no idea if we can believe anything he states. We know his promises cannot be trusted; beginning with his would be the most open presidency ever. He promised that even as he was spending millions hiding his past. I knew America was in trouble when only the Tea Party was pronouncing the truth about Obama and they were disliked by the Republican Party! In case you do not understand why liberals are scared to death of the Tea party and vilify them at every turn it is because they know the truth and try to spread it and they are largely conservative Christians who enjoy praying together. Liberals have no reason to fear having to go along to get along with Republicans and Christ’s Church and that is really sad because the nation cannot survive without some group applying the brakes and Christ’s Church speaking out on moral standards.
I fear not being able to keep my doctor because my doctors have already tried many things to help me and they know what will not help me. If I cannot keep my doctors, I am headed for a constant effort of explaining how what is normally prescribed will not work for me and I suspect the same is true for all kinds of people. There is no hope for any kind of efficiency in health care unless people can keep their own doctors.
Before Obama was elected I knew that he had problems with America’s governing constitution in that it just sets America free and does not say what all the government must do for people, including people who do not want to take care of themselves! What these radicals like Obama want the government to do for their clientele is an unending list. If it hasn’t happened all ready, free housing, Obama phones, food, health care will lead to free cars and any other thing this clientele think they deserve like free vacations. Before his election, I also knew that as an Illinois state senator, Obama proposed a bill making euthanasia of children legal and was the only one who voted for it.
It is elementary America, you cannot have truth unless both you and Christ’s Church insist on it and that cannot happen with silence. This needs to be America’s prayer: Psalm 108:12 Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain.
Wake up America, you cannot be free without the truth and Obama is hiding the truth from you and enjoys doing it. He just loved flying around the country telling people if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor! John 8:32 instructs us, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. America, you are being enslaved with constant lies and big government and you cannot be free without Christ and the truth He brings and that will take repentance, prayer, revival and a change in Christ’s Church. America did not win our independence from Britain without the help of the pastors of that time and Christ’s Church, nor can America keep our freedom without their and Christ’s help now.

When we celebrated Independence Day on July 4th we basically celebrated what the Lord gave us as our founding fathers testified. Now that Liberals are busy tearing down what the Lord gave us through our founding fathers, I’m wondering what kind of outrages many in the nation will want to celebrate in the future.
To appreciate the freedoms we received at our founding, when Christ set us free, we must compare them with some of the stupid decisions that are enslaving us today. Our founders never gave anyone freedom from the guilt of sinful living because they followed the Bible and that is something the Bible does not do apart from repentance and returning to the Lord.
We live in an age that acts like the Lord is not watching; but, Proverbs 15:3 tells us: The eyes of the LORD are in every place, Watching the evil and the good. This admonition applies to both the world and the Church; but, it seems to me that while the world is pretty much ignoring this admonition, so does the Church when it refuses to be involved in stopping evil politics while it pretends one candidate is as evil as the other!
I remembered this scripture while in this morning’s men’s Bible study from Genesis 15:16 on how the Lord is not only watching but keeping score. If you get one thing right in life, please let it be getting to know and loving Life’s Score Keeper because only He can forgive your sins! The Lord had told Moses that the Israelites could not yet have the land of the Amorites because the Amorite’s sin had not yet met full measure but God knew the day it would be full measure! Then in the fourth generation they will return here, for the iniquity of the Amorite is not yet complete.
Some of you may argue with me about whether or not America rebelled and became a fallen nation; but, if we look at some of the hair brained decisions this nation has made since our fall in 1963, it points to a fall. Let us look at some of the decisions made since America rebelled:
The taking of innocent life was approved in America in 1973! Abortion is the slaughter of a totally innocent life for the so called well being of another which may not be the mother but the boyfriend or parents or others. Sacrificing an innocent life for another is so foreign to the Lord that when the Bible tells about the Israelites sacrificing children by passing them trough fire while worshipping Molech, the Lord said that was something that never even entered His mind! Jeremiah 32:25 They built the high places of Baal that are in the valley of Ben-hinnom to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire to Molech, which I had not commanded them nor had it entered My mind that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
Talk about a fallen nation. The taking of an innocent life hardly came up as abortion was approved based on a woman’s right to privacy! Do any of you recall this scripture being an issue? I Corinthians 6:19-20 19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20 For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body. Or this from Exodus 23:7 — do not kill the innocent or the righteous, for I will not acquit the guilty. This is why women who have had abortion cannot be free of sadness afterward.
Hardly a day passes when there are one or more attempts by Liberals to deny someone their basic rights and often children are the victims because they love to Lord it over children. In 2004, a boy was told he could not share his present of a candy cane for each child in his class with a message on its connection to Christ. When the school officials were initially defeated for saying no, they went to the defense that little kids do not have First Amendment Rights! Since 2004, it has become more apparent that we Americans live in a nation where we don’t have any rights unless the Liberals grant it.
The founders based our laws and institutions on the wisdom in the Bible. They kept homosexuality the unspeakable problem. The Bible condemns homosexuality in many places, such as all the Israelites that had to die battling the tribe of Benjamin over one homosexual incident (see the last three chapters of Judges). I may be in trouble here for quoting the Bible! Paul said Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals in 1 Corinthians 6:9 and Christ confirmed it in Revelation 21:8 But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Look at this garbage that came out of the left when the Supreme Court ruled that Hobby Lobby did not have to provide for four of the twenty birth control medications that could cause a baby to be aborted:
Hillary Clinton “It’s very troubling that a salesclerk at Hobby Lobby who needs contraception, which is pretty expensive, is not going to get that service through her employer’s health-care plan because her employer doesn’t think she should be using contraception.” To Hillary, it seems the right to contraception is a constitutional right. The founders were not into the government giving benefits and even made fun of the idea! Hillary, that is why you cannot find the right to free contraceptives or any other monetary benefits in the Constitution for other than veterans. But on the other hand, who pays attention to the Constitution any more, certainly not the president we have now.
Way back before he ran for election I knew things about Obama that really upset me. Such, as when an Illinois senator, he sponsored a bill allowing euthanasia of children and then was the sole voter for it. He was a professor of the Constitution but his major complaint against the Constitution was because it did not promise what it had to do for the people. Somehow he missed that America was not founded as a socialistic country.
Which leads me to the decision America made concerning this man, who had never run anything, would somehow be good for America! Isn’t it too bad that America’s mass media chose not to out this Flim Flam Man running for president?
If the preceding decisions are not the decisions of a fallen nation, I have no idea what would constitute a fallen nation.

7-2-14 America Should Be Celebrating Christ on July 4th
There would be no America had it not been for Christ seeing and blessing those who led to America’s founding just as Colossians promises in 1:15-17 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Christ is the author of America and brought about the once freest nation on earth through His people. There would be no America if not for the involvement of His pastors in early American politics.
Scripture tells us Christ knew us before we had one day and knew all the days allotted to us. Psalm 139:16-17 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. 17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! If Christ authors nations, He does so by who will be in that nation. That you were born in what was the freest Christian nation should give you reason to celebrate Christ as it was all His doing.
When did Christ know of America? Before creation of course! Christ knew America and who would bless America’s founding and that we would be in America or scripture is in correct.
Let us look at a few things to celebrate this July 4th.
For ages people were enslaved by Bibles chained to pulpits that were only read and interpreted by Priest speaking in Latin. When Wycliffe interpreted the Bible into English he wrote in the flyleaf of that Bible, “This Bible is translated and shall make possible a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.” Abraham Lincoln reminded Americans of this in his world famous Gettysburg speech when he said America was built on the proposition that all people are equal which is a Biblical idea.
Christopher Columbus said he was led by the Holy Spirit to find a people not yet evangelized! After he wrote, It was the Lord who put into my mind (I could feel His hand upon me) he testified, No one should fear to undertake any task in the name of our Savior, if it is just and if the intention is purely for His holy service. The working out of all things has been assigned to each person by our Lord, but it all happens according to His sovereign will even though He gives advice. He lacks nothing that it is in the power of men to give him. Oh what a gracious Lord, who desires that people should perform for Him those things for which He holds Himself responsible! Day and night moment by moment, everyone should express to Him their most devoted gratitude. Isn’t it neat that Christopher Columbus tells us to give Christ the glory?
The Jamestown settlers, the first colony in America, also trusted in the Lord. As the first rays of sunlight peaked through the Virginia forest surrounding the Jamestown settlement, colonist walked quietly through the morning mist to join their chaplain in prayer. Under an old, tattered sail, Rev. Robert Hunt led the settlers in intercession twice a day — every day — as they sought God for wisdom, provision, and protection. In fact, the first official act by the English in the New World was a corporate prayer. Devotion to God would remain a central element of everyday life in the Virginia colony for years to come.
So did the Pilgrims before they left the Mayflower they compacted: In the name of God, Amen — Having undertaken, for the Glory of God, and advancements of the Christian faith and honor of our King and Country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the Northern parts of Virginia, do by these presents, solemnly and mutually, in the presence of God, and one another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil body politic; for our better ordering, and preservation —.
That America was founded by Christians for Christian is beyond doubt. This is the first document representing anything resembling a federal government from when the New England colonist came together to form a confederation:
The Articles of Confederation of the United Colonies of New England; May 19, 1643
Whereas we all came into these parts of America with one and the same end and aim, namely, to advance the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ and to enjoy the liberties of the Gospel in purity with peace; and whereas in our settling (by a wise providence of God)—-
Imagine this on Christ’s Church of today which is trying to keep out of politics because it might offend someone! Patrick Henrys famous political speech on give me liberty or give me death was at St. John’s Church, Richmond, Virginia March 23, 1775 and in the speech he noted that he, “speak forth my sentiments freely, and without reserve” and Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offence, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty toward the majesty of heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings and he knew he was in Christ’s Church! He also intimated that God was all America had left but that was enough: — we must fight! I repeat it, sir, we must fight! An appeal to arms and to the God of Hosts is all that is left us! They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? —- Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. Three millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations — Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death! And God did that very thing; God forbade that the British keep their hold on America and gave us freedom.
George Washington in his October 3, 1789 Thanksgiving Proclamation requested by congress said, — it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor —. George Washington gave all the credit to Jesus Christ. How about you, Christian? How about you Church?
No matter what the government, no matter what the politics, everything is all about Jesus Christ, The Great Governor of the Universe, it has always been so and it will always be that way. Get out of the way unbelievers!

6-24-14 America’s Problems are Spiritual
I never thought that I would see the day when the arrogance of America’s leadership was at the same level as a Godless communist state where both depend on lies to govern! Nor did I think the hell fire and damnation preaching so predominate in American churches in the early sixties would become mostly silence on major spiritual issues plaguing our nation and leading to our destruction.
Please, can anyone explain to me why the arrogance of deliberate lies like you can keep your doctor if you like your doctor is not as evil as those aren’t my troops in Ukraine? Both are bald faced lies to gullible people and depend on a biased press with the same agenda as this evil leadership and are only made possible by a silent church. Can you believe this? Lois Lerner’s lost e mails are only an ongoing news item on Fox News and hardly ever or never heard about on ABC, NBC, or CBS news! Why not be dishonest and manipulate the people if there is little or no penalty for it and much to be gained with lies if you are a liberal with a hidden agenda?
So where is the church in this battle between truth and evil? Evidently it is caught up in the concerns of this world of being afraid of offending errant people! How is that possible with scripture like this? Matthew 16:16-19 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.”
It is tragic that this problem of Satan’s arrogance and dishonesty ruling America cannot be defeated with a call to national prayer led by a united church. The church appears to be unwilling to be part of the partnership with the forces of heaven in resolving this problem because the liberal churches are political and the conservative churches do not want to offend the liberals! Is Satan slick or what? With half the churches controlled by Satan’s politics and the other half afraid to offend Satan’s liberals, is it any wonder that we have the dishonest leadership we have? How far America has descended from our founding when it was the political leadership that often called for days of prayer and fasting!
In Joshua, where the Lord was leading Israel and winning battles for them; we have this scripture about how the Lord would not help Israel defeat much smaller Ai after the victory at Jericho: Joshua 7:10-12: 10 So the LORD said to Joshua, “Rise up! Why is it that you have fallen on your face? 11 Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. And they have even taken some of the things under the ban and have both stolen and deceived. Moreover, they have also put them among their own things. 12 Therefore the sons of Israel cannot stand before their enemies; they turn their backs before their enemies, for they have become accursed. I will not be with you anymore unless you destroy the things under the ban from your midst. Note: when the Lord accused Israel of this, evidently only one man had done it; but, also note the Bible promises His justice is always fair. After all, justice is just that, fair and the Lord watches over justice. Psalm 89:14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Lovingkindness and truth go before You.
Our founders understood this problem of leaving the Lord’s guidance and that is why they frequently called for days of repentance and fasting and it kept America from failing and helped them become the freest and most prosperous nation on earth. Can you imagine our current leadership uniting in a call for repentance, prayer and fasting? The same leadership that is more concerned with putting conservative Christians in their place?
America’s leadership is now mostly about which candidates for office can give you more of the hard earned dollars of others which is one of Satan’s schemes pretty much unopposed by the church. Last November I did a series of post that showed how national government giving benefits:
A. Cannot be found in the Bible as it was the church and individuals who were to take care of people needing and deserving help.
B. Was not part of our founding government and in fact our founders made fun of the idea!
C. How those claiming to help the poor keep most of the money, by a large margin, for themselves by controlling the government and paying those who govern as aristocrats with special rights and benefits. It is hard to defeat Santa Claus!
D. How this is about America’s leadership and the people who vote for them demanding that any blessings God gives to man beyond a nominal amount be theirs!

At our founding, America’s leaderships goal was to set us free to prosper with the support of religion and prosper we did. Today the goal is to make everyone dependant on big government and failure is thus guaranteed and Christianity just gets in the way! America desperately needs repentance, revival and a return to Jesus Christ, the great Governor of the Universe and once the chief counselor of America.
Wake up America; it is no accident that understanding and implementing Christ ways in governance resulted in the most prosperous nation on earth. It is only Christ way that works in a universe which He created and governs. America, you need to repent for who you now chose to govern over you.
