During the past week, there was much speculation in America’s media about how America is being viewed by the rest of the world. Things like this make my heart ache. If America knew scripture and our true history; what is happening to America’s reputation in the world would be no mystery. I can’t help but desire to tell people these things because the things happening to America are as predictable as the weather and should be expected! America, please come and let us reason together. Know that I do not have to prove what is communicated here; American history has already proven it.
The Old Testament, containing all that history of Israel, is in the Bible for many reasons and one of the main reasons is given us by Paul in 1 Corinthians 10:1-6 and verse 11. In these verses, Paul, the apostle to gentiles like us, informs us that everything that happened to Israel was meant as an example for us who follow and in verse 11 he states it is meant for us living in the latter days.
With this in mind, let us consider how the Lord promised to make Israel a top nation in their covenant with the Lord in Deuteronomy 28 verses 1-14. The Lord promised Israel would always be at the top and never under any other nation as long as Israel continued to follow the Lord. If they failed to follow the Lord, the covenant with the Lord then contained 54 verses of horrible curses that would plague Israel. Israel became a top nation, always at the top and never under any other nation until it fell. The Lord’s curses then came horribly true for Israel.
Ezekiel 5:5-8 tells what happened when Israel fell and gives the criteria for a fallen nation. My book, America, Christ’s Top Nation Has Fallen, shows how and when America rebelled, and shows where the supporting evidence that proves how America meets the following scriptural criteria of a fallen nation. The evidence can be found by anyone on the internet (my book has links) and in worldwide news reports:
5 “This is what the Sovereign LORD says: This is Jerusalem, which I have set in the center of the nations, with countries all around her. 6 Yet in her wickedness she has rebelled against my laws and decrees more than the nations and countries around her. She has rejected my laws and has not followed my decrees.
7 “Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: You have been more unruly than the nations around you and have not followed my decrees or kept my laws. You have not even conformed to the standards of the nations around you.
8 “Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I myself am against you, Jerusalem, and I will inflict punishment on you in the sight of the nations”. Israel’s punishment was so horrible most Christians abhor reading the scripture containing the curses in Deuteronomy 28. The Bible tells how these terrible curses came true for Israel. Even the terrible curse that they would eat their own babies!
Christians who came to America were about 99% of the population at our founding. The Great Governor of the Universe, Jesus Christ, could not help but made America a top nation at our founding as a reward for all those devout Christians; but, we could never replace Israel’s special role that God gave them. Christ is just and true to God’s Word and as The Great Governor of the Universe, He must assure all the promises in God’s Word are fulfilled (Jeremiah 1:12). America remained a top nation until America’s rebellion in 1963 when it fell. America then lost the Vietnam War and our morals plummeted (my book has many charts proving this!).
I don’t think anyone would disclaim that America has not been the world’s top nation. When America rebelled, the Lord started to work against America as he did against Israel and the reason is Christ as governor must assure justice. The internet is full of statistics proving our rebellion and fall as Christ started to work against America.
America’s reputation in the world has also fallen as the world sees what is happening to America and abhors how America’s morals are lower than even theirs and yet America wants to lead them! As a fallen nation, America should not be lecturing anyone, let alone lecture them on how they need to accept and become advocates for things they detest. What is so terribly sad is that as a fallen nation, America can’t understand how nations with more morals than we have do not want us lecturing them!
America will continue to fall until America repents and seeks Christ again. This is what happens when a once righteous, wonderfully blessed by the Lord, nation like America rebels and falls. Since what happened to Israel is to be an example to America, what has happened to America after our fall has been as predictable as the 24 hour day!
America, wake up. Just as America became a top nation like Israel did; we had to fall just like Israel did when they fell from righteousness. America, it is extremely important to understand this. When a nation that had the best The Great Governor of the Universe could give it and then falls, it will be punished more severely than other nations. The great Governor sets standards that must be met by nations.
America cannot be like Europe, no matter how much some liberals desire that, for the very reason of being punished more severely. Since American history mirrors Israel’s history on top nation blessings and failures, America needs to heed this scripture:
Leviticus 26:18 If after all this you will not listen to me, I will punish you for your sins seven times over. In fact this chapter repeats this warning four more times to make sure the Israelites understood what would happen to them! Other sins were punished two times over. America, please understand that we are being punished. This should be readily apparent to America given the short comings of the leaders they have selected in expectation of what they promised! Haven’t you noticed how things just don’t seem to work out anymore?
If America would face up to reality, we are already bankrupt not only in monetary things; but, in leadership and all kinds of other things. We are beyond healing our nation in our own power. Our only hope is in repentance and revival and becoming a nation of his people once again. Admitting our failures and repenting requires overcoming the false pride that fills America since the Lord hates pride. God’s word is also full of how The Great Governor can heal a repentant people.
If America would only humble ourselves and repent and seeks revival, we would be able to have the Lord helping us once again: 2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. It is the –I will forgive and heal their land– that America so desperately needs to understand. America must turn from removing the Lord from everything and seek how to once more get him into everything again.
